BBDO and Proximity Greater China has promoted Kit Koh to Executive Creative Director of BBDO and Proximity South China- a marquee appointment to the group’s Hong Kong and Guangzhou offices.
A BBDO veteran of 12 years, Kit is currently the Executive Creative Director of Energy BBDO in Shanghai, leading several brands including VISA, Bayer, SC Johnson, DENZA, Master Kong, and Platinum Guild International.
WaiFoong Leong, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, BBDO Greater China, said upon announcing this promotion, “In his 12 years at BBDO and Proximity Shanghai, Kit has led the department in a radical overhaul- resulting in a consistent stream of highly creative and effective work that shaped the market. Now is the time for Kit to step up to an even bigger stage.”
With this significant promotion, Kit will relocate from Shanghai to spearhead the growth, creative excellence and culture of BBDO and Proximity offices in both Hong Kong and Guangzhou, joining a strong management team which includes JC Catibog (Managing Director), Owen Smith (Head of Planning), Eric Zhou (General Manager- Guangzhou) and Jason King (General Manger, Hong Kong). He will continue to report to Leong.
