Budget airline SpiceJet has called for a pitch for its creative business that saw the participation of Bates 141, O&M, Leo Burnett and Capital Advertising. The account size is pegged at Rs 20 crore. Senior agency sources have confirmed the news.
SpiceJet’s brief to the agencies taking part in the pitch is to come up with a campaign that would help the airline retain its business and achieve a 10 per cent growth. There would be three rounds of presentations based on which the agency would be selected. According to sources, the presentations had already taken place.
SpiceJet’s market share in the third quarter of calendar year 2008 stood at 8.3 per cent, while it had carried 710,000 passengers during the period.
The airline will undertake a 360-degree initiative, including print, TVC, outdoor and below the line activities.
