BARC Week 44: Google App enters Top 10 Brands at fifth spot

Videocon D2H continued to lead BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 44 (October 28-November 3) with 14,983 insertions.

Dove Cream Bathing Bar, Kalyan Jewellers and Horlicks climbed to second, third and sixth spot with 8659, 7819 and 6972 insertions respectively.

Close Up Ever Fresh and Dr Ortho Oil and Capsule slipped to fourth and ninth spot with 7780 and 6593 insertions respectively.

Google App, Clinic Plus Shampoo, Sprite and Santoor Sandal and Turmeric entered the list at fifth, seventh, eighth and tenth spot with 7050, 6823, 6818 and 6387 insertions respectively.

Meanwhile, in the Top 10 Advertisers list, Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser (India) continued to retain the top two spots with 1,35,855 and 32,396 insertions respectively.

Procter & Gamble, Brooke Bond Lipton India and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd climbed to third, fourth, seventh spot with 26,267, 25,545 17,698 insertions respectively.

Patanjali Ayurved, Cadbury India, Ponds India and Lakme Lever Ltd slipped to fifth, sixth, ninth and tenth spot with 24,540, 20,629, 15,948 and 15,402 insertions respectively.

Coca Cola India entered the list at eighth spot with 17,317 insertions.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
