Asian Health & Nutri Foods assigns Rs 10-cr media mandate to LMG Chennai

Salem-headquartered Asian Health & Nutri Foods appointed Lintas Media Group (LMG) Chennai as its media AOR. The company, which has marketing operations in Chennai, is into producing and marketing pulses and pulse products under the brand name Jeyyam. The size of the business is estimated to be in the region of Rs 8-10 crore. The pitch involved one more agency besides LMG. The creative duties are being handled by RK Swamy Chennai.

The brand, which is currently present in Tamil Nadu, is planning to expand to other South Indian markets like Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, with Karnataka being the first state in the radar, where the brand would be launched early next year.

The launch campaign would primarily be driven by television, with print and outdoor acting as support medium.

Commenting on the win, GV Vijaykumar, AVP, LMG Chennai, said, “The key challenge to handle this account is to address the consumer of a product category that is largely universal, but attaches very little time or mind space to the decision making process. We are excited to be adding a commodity client to our already diverse portfolio of clients that we handle out of Chennai.”
