Arthur Sadoun has been promoted as CEO of Publicis Worldwide. Prior to this, he has been CEO of Publicis France and Managing Director of Publicis. Sadoun takes charge from Jean-Yves Naouri, Global Executive Chairman and COO, Publicis. Naouri’s new role is yet to be decided.
As CEO, Sadoun also is joining Publicis Groupe’s executive committee.
As is known, post the Publicis-Omnicom merger, Maurice Levy has assumed responsibility for the top leadership of Publicis Omnicom Group for a 30-month integration period, following which John Wren takes over.
Sadoun had joined Publicis Groupe in December 2006 as CEO of Publicis Conseil. He was appointed CEO of Publicis France in 2009 and then was given the additional responsibilities for Publicis operations in Western Europe in 2011.
Prior to Publicis, Sadoun was CEO of TBWA\Paris. He had commenced his career in advertising by starting an agency in Chile, which was later sold to BBDO.
