Animax, AXN plan action-packed fare for 2007

Animax, the premier youth animation channel from SPE Networks, and AXN have lined up an array of action-packed shows to engage the viewers throughout the year.

For Animax it would be more of tales of fantasy, mystical lands and majestic heroes. Some of its programmes for 2007 include ‘Inu-Yasha: Sword of an Honourable Ruler’, where according to legend, three swords rule the realms of Man, Heaven, and Hell. ‘Inu-Yasha: Fire on the Mystic Island’ tells the story of the ruler, who left his destiny incomplete on Houraijima, a mystical island that appears every half-century.

Along with the premiere of Inu-Yasha features, some other action packed episodes include ‘Ghost Fighter’, ‘The Law of Euki’, ‘Curious Play’ and ‘Full Metal Alchemist’.

AXN, too, has some interesting shows lined up – from ‘Alias - Season 5’ to the 15th century legend of Rambaldi. A new edition of ‘The Amazing Race Asia’ will also be premiered soon on the channel.

News episodes from ‘Nip/Tuck’, ‘The Contender - Season 2’ and ‘24 - Season 4’ will also be aired during the year.
