Anil Kumble is the new face of Manipal Education

Manipal Education has roped in India’s test cricket captain Anil Kumble as its brand ambassador. Manipal Education comprises Manipal University and Sikkim Manipal University, and over 30 institutions in India, besides colleges and university campuses in Antigua, Dubai, Malaysia and Nepal.

Dr Ranjan Pai, CEO, Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG), said, “We have always ensured that our students strike a balance between academic and extra-curricular performances. Anil Kumble personifies our brand values. Aside from being a great cricketer, Anil has also excelled academically. We have been providing world-class education to our students and hence a world-class player like Anil Kumble is the appropriate choice for Manipal Education. This association will assist Manipal Education in achieving its mission of providing its students with well rounded development.” MEMG is the corporate entity responsible for the administration of the education institutions of the Group.

Kumble said, “I have closely followed Manipal Education’s success in developing students who excel in academics and extra-curricular activities. It gives me great pleasure to represent Manipal Education globally and lead young minds to new vistas of learning.”

Anand Sudarshan, MD and CEO, Manipal Education, added that Kumble would not just be the commercial face of Manipal Education, but would also be involved in the all-round activities of Manipal Education. He added that an advertising campaign would be rolled out in the next two months, but refused to divulge any details on the same.

Manipal Education offers over 180 professional courses in over 20 countries, as well as online testing and assessment services through 19 centres across India.
