AMD moves creative duty to Contract, Maxus gets media business

AMD has handed over its creative account to Contract Advertising while Maxus will handle its entire media planning and buying business. The combined value of the business is in the region of Rs 4.5 crore.

Earlier, the creative duty of AMD was with McCann Erickson while Universal McCann was handling its media activities.

Said Vineet Arya, Marketing Manager, AMD Far East Limited, "The current movement took place as a result of Intel moving its global account to McCann Erickson WorldGroup. We terminated our association with McCann a fortnight ago."

Intel and AMD are arch rivals in the microprocessor/chip market all across the world.
