Ajay Chaudhary joins BEI Confluence as VP & Business Head of Delhi office

BEI Confluence has appointed Ajay Chaudhary as Vice President and Business Head of its flagship office in Delhi. Chaudhary moves from Percept Hakuhudo, where he was heading a number of leading businesses of the agency in Delhi. He was also running one of their leading profit centers with a team of professionals working with him.

Commenting on Chaudhary’s appointment, Tapas Gupta, MD, BEI Confluence, said, “I am happy to start a second innings with Ajay. He had worked with me in a McCann Erickson group company in 1996-98 and we share a common professional vision of building a robust and professionally top-class agency and giving our best wherever we work for. Ajay will be a great asset in BEI Confluence as he brings with him a solid intellectual ability, sound business sense and terrific man-management qualities, which will be very precious for our growth and stature.”

On joining BEI Confluence, Chaudhary said, “I feel great and it is a great challenge to work in a close knit environment. I have worked with Tapas before, when he was at McCann Erickson. At BEI Confluence, I am VP - North. I will be working in the capacity of business head and will be leading the brand team.”

Chaudhary has spent over 16 years in advertising, working for some of the top five advertising agencies like Rediffusion Y&R, McCann Erickson and Mudra Group before joining PerceptH in 2005. In the span of his career, Chaudhary has worked on big brands like Benckiser, Casio, Revlon, Airtel Cellular Service, and Mother Dairy, among many others. At PerceptH, he was leading DLF Real Estate, Bharat Nirmaan, (PMO’s Office) and Airtel Broadband service businesses (besides a host of other brands) as Business Head in charge of an independent profit center.
