After Hero Majestic, Brand Curry picks up Vertex account

After acquiring the account of Majestic Auto Ltd, Brand Curry recently picked up the account of the UK-based BPO, Vertex, a part of United Utilities plc, an FTSE 100 company. The account, previously handled by FS Aadvertising, is worth Rs 1.2 crore.

Throwing light on the acquisition, Subrato Chakraborty, Director of Brand Curry, says, “BPO is more like a commodity market. No BPO is branded so far hence the focus is to create such a brand that hires talented people and not just lures them by money. “We will partner our client in this effort”, he adds.

Vertex is an international Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) with particular expertise in customer management that develops and implements a range of outsourcing solutions for organisations in the commercial, financial services, utility and public sectors.

“Brand Curry was selected by Vertex as a preferred agency due to their past experience and professionalism. The work that they presented was remarkable and would ultimately appeal to our audience”, said an official at Vertex.

“Unlike recruitment advertising, we have advertised like a lifestyle campaign rather than a recruitment campaign”, says Chakraborty while elaborating on the strategy.

With the Vertex account, Brand Curry has bagged four accounts worth Rs 13 crore. The other accounts are Hero Majestic, Nirula’s and Dawat Basmati. Considering that the agency has been around for just five months, this sure is a heady start.
