After creative team, Contract beefs up its account management team

Close on the heels of beefing up its creative team, Contract Advertising is now focusing on consolidating its service offerings. The agency has brought on board Geet Nazir and Bhaskar Preenja as Vice Presidents, Account Management in its Mumbai and Delhi offices, respectively.

“It is in our quest for hiring the finest talent for Contract that both Geet and Bhaskar have joined us. They both have impeccable credentials and are sharp minded people with strong leadership skills. They are responsible for some of our most esteemed businesses and I am sure that they will add magic to the brands and make a positive difference for all,” said Rana Barua, COO, Contract Advertising.

Nazir joins in from Publicis Capital, where she had led Account Management for Garnier India. In her current role at Contract, Nazir will oversee the Shopper’s Stop, Cadbury’s and Edelweiss accounts and will be reporting into Ayesha Ghosh, Senior VP and General Manager – Mumbai operations.

With over 12 years of experience in brand communications and advertising across New York and Mumbai, Nazir has worked with O&M NY, Saatchi & Saatchi NY and Lowe Mumbai. She has also worked with Jean-Claude Biguine, a leading chain of premium salons and spas as its India Marketing & Business Development Head when the company launched its India operations in December 2008.

Bhaskar, who joins in from McCann Erickson, has over 15 years of integrated advertising experience in managing diverse Indian and global clients across sectors. As part of his role at Contract, he will be managing the newly-established relationships of Dabur that the agency has just won – Gulabari and Oxy Bleach (Men & Women). He will report to Shivaji Dasgupta, Senior VP & GM, Delhi operations.

During his tenure at McCann, Bhaskar had handled key clients such as Dabur, Nescafe, Ireo, Jagran, General Motors, Reebok, Microsoft Xbox, Dulux and MetLife for the agency.
