Aegis Media set to get a new high-tech home in Mumbai

Aegis Media India is geared to have all its brands working in India. Digital brand Isobar became active with the acquisition of Communicate2 in June 2008. Carat got Kartik Iyer as its MD in India. Posterscope is slated to launch within the next four months. It is also expected that Aegis Media would be launching other group brands in the market.

In the wake of all this action, Aegis Media India has decided to create a state-of-the-art, ergonomically designed and environmentally sensitive, comprehensive media office in Mumbai. Besides the Aegis Media India corporate headquarters, the new office at Mittal Chambers, Nariman Point in South Mumbai, would house Carat, Isobar, Posterscope and the other Aegis Media Group brands, as and when they are launched.

Ashish Bhasin, Chairman, India, & CEO South East Asia, Aegis Media, explained, “As part of our commitment to ensure that Aegis Media Group clients get the best of service in India, we considered it necessary to make this investment. In our business, where so much changes every minute, we need state-of-the-art infrastructure, 24x7 back-up enabled highest speed Internet and processing abilities, as also have access to world class technology. The Beta trials of this process and technology are on and we expect it to be able to be fully functional by August-end.”

He further said, “This is just the first step towards Aegis Media claiming its rightful position as the best full service media specialist agency in India. It is our resolve to make Aegis Media India the happiest place to work in. We will invest in the best technology, computers and other hardware to enable us to be the first media company in India to have high quality tools customised to our market that work in real life and not in Powerpoint presentations only.”

An official communiqué stated, “The office is designed on the principle of an ‘open layout with private spaces’, giving the best of both the worlds, with the latest conference facilities, meeting rooms and staff recreation and canteen areas. Every single media expert will have real time online access to the Aegis Media worldwide tools, web solutions, research and data, enabling all the media planners and buyers to access and use the global best practices.”
