Advertising Club Bangalore calls for entries for The Big Bang Awards 2008

The Advertising Club Bangalore’s annual awards night, The Big Bang Awards 2008, is scheduled to be held on November 7 November. The Ad Club has sent out mailers to agencies across India inviting entries. The last date for receiving entries is October 6.

Arvind Kumar, Executive Director of The Bangalore Ad Club, informed, “In all, there are 52 Awards spread over 11 categories. The Bangalore Ad club introduced the Media Awards in 2007, which were an instant hit with media buying agencies. We expect more entries to come in this category this year.”

Kumar further said, “The Big Bang is growing in stature and size and one can expect the Bang to be mightier this year.”

DNA Networks will manage the event and has plans to peg the show in a way that will engage the audience creatively. The Awards night will be followed by a theme party for the guests to unwind.

This year, The Big Bang Awards are presented by Bangalore Mirror, the compact daily from The Times of India stable, in association with Dainik Bhaskar and afaqs.com.
