It is learnt that adidas India is planning to launch a new campaign in 2010 and for this purpose is on the lookout for a new creative partner and has invited the agencies for presentations. However, when contacted, the official spokesperson for adidas refused to divulge any details on the development.
According to industry sources, the pitch took place last week. It is learnt that the pitch process involved three agencies – incumbent agency TBWA\India, Contract Advertising and Lowe Lintas. With the upcoming ICC World Cup 2010, the sportswear manufacturer wants to create a buzz with a new campaign.
Carat India is the media partner on the business, while iris came on board in 2008 as the retail marketing partner for adidas. There will be no changes in these mandates.
