Indian agencies have scored 14 metals so far at AdFest 2014. Winners in the Press Lotus, Interactive Lotus, Mobile Lotus, Direct Lotus, Promo Lotus, Design Lotus, Print Craft Lotus, Film Craft Lotus and New Director categories have been announced. In all, Indian agencies have secured 79 nominations.
McCann Worldgroup India has bagged three Gold metals. All three are for Audiobooks in the categories of Design Lotus (Point of Sale – Small Scale), Print Craft Lotus (Best Use of Illustration) and Print Craft Lotus (Art Direction). The agency has also won two Silver metals, again for Audiobooks, in the categories of Design Lotus (Poster) and Print Craft Lotus (Best Use of Computer Generated Imagery). McCann Worldgroup India has won a Bronze metal in the Press Lotus (Best of Communication on Media & Publications) for work done for Audiobooks.
Grey Worldwide India brings home a Gold in the Press Lotus (Best of Household Products & Maintenance) category for Duracell. The agency has bagged a Silver in the same category for client Duracell for the work titled ‘Ageless Wonder’. Grey has also won a Silver for work done for client Duracell in the Print Craft Lotus (Best Use of Illustrations) category.
Work done for Frooti has fetched a Gold for Creativeland Asia in the Film Craft Lotus (Original Music Score) category. The agency brings home a bronze in the Film Craft Lotus (Directing) category.
Work done for client Nike, titled ‘Parallel Journey’, has fetched JWT India two Silvers in the Film Craft Lotus (Editing) and Film Craft Lotus (Original Music Score) categories. The agency has won a Bronze metal for its work titled ‘Health Capital’, done for the Rotract Club of Mumbai, Shivaji Park.
AdFest is a non-profit organisation, which runs the largest annual advertising festival in Asia and the Pacific, celebrating and raising the standard of creativity in the region.
AdFest 2014 is being held between March 6 and 8 in Pattaya, Thailand.
