The 28th Asian Advertising Congress, AdAsia 2013, got underway in Hanoi, Vietnam on November 11, 2013. The four-day Congress will put the spotlight on re-engineering advertising. Among the participants this year will be member countries of the Asian Federation of Advertising Association (AFAA) and representatives from the media and advertising fraternity in Asia and the world.
Speaking about the event this year, Hoang Tuan Anh, Minister, Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism said, “As a business forum, AdAsia 2013 presents attendees with a first class opportunity for opening up new advertising and marketing communication channels, whereby to engage in ventures of both regional and international scope.”
He further said, “As a social forum, AdAsia 2013 presents an outstanding opportunity to develop new friendships with other AFAA members, share experiences, explore common goals and together devise imaginative new solutions to highlight the unparalleled potential of the Asian region as a market for international investors.”
Among the various sessions and topics that AdAsia 2013 will cover over the four days will be a special session on the digital media landscape, titled ‘Redefining Digital: Mankind’s Third Biggest Revolution’. The Session will be chaired by Annurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, exchang4media Group.
