Advertising Club Madras will hold its annual Excellence in Advertising Awards, called Maddy Awards, on March 28, 2014.
There will be close to 40 categories this year as opposed to 30 categories last year. The salient additions this year are TVC Craft, Integrated Campaign, Media Innovation and a special category of grand winners – a winner amongst all winners. Last date for receiving entries is March 6, 2014.
A four-member jury panel, comprising Ramanujan Sridhar, CEO, Integrated Brand- Comm; KS Chakravarthy, NCD, Draftfcb+Ulka Advertising; Arun Iyer, NCD, Lowe Lintas and Partners; and KV Sridhar, NCD, Leo Burnett will judge the entries this year.
The structure of evaluation and scoring is consistent. New categories have been added to create more opportunities for entries, and more importantly, to make this platform relevant and appealing to practitioners from allied fields.

More than 500 executives from the advertising industry are expected to attend the Awards function, which will be held at Hyatt Regency, Chennai.
