Ad Club Madras appoints Karthic Moorthy as President

Karthic Moorthy, Executive Partner, Elegant Publicities has been elected as the 39th President of the Advertising Club Madras.

He has taken over from P Subramanian of OTS Advertising. KR Skandraaj, GM – Marketing, Dinamalar is the new secretary of the club.

Moorthy started off his career with Elegant Publicities nine years ago and has been a part of the club since the last four years. He has handled the roles of Joint Secretary and Secretary before being elected as the President of the club.

Commenting on the plans of the club, Moorthy said, “We are trying to get media and advertisers together. We also want to ensure that small advertisers participate in our annual Tamizh Awards.”

Other members who have been elected are Seshadri Iyer of TV18 as Vice-President, Anbu Chezhian of Law & Kenneth as Joint Secretary, P Sivaprasad of Ananda Vikatan as the Treasurer.

Rajeev Nambiar, President and CEO, Hello FM, Malar Publications; Aro Taffline of Optima Response; Kavitha Srinivasan, Branch Head, Mindshare Chennai; Elango M, VP, Interface Communication; Suresh Srinivasan, VP, The Hindu; P Subramanian, VP, OTS Advertising; Jagannath Ramaswamy, Chief Mentor, Crystal; and R Seshadri, MD, Anugrah Madison have been elected as Executive Committee members.
