Ad Club announces EMVIES 2013

The Advertising Club is all set to honour the best work in media through the EMVIES 2013. EMVIES 2013 will retain the best practices of the past years, including the online judging process initiated last year. Last date for receiving entries is July 8, 2013.

This year will see the first ever judging rounds in Delhi, in addition to Mumbai. The so far unrecognised heroes of media agencies will be honoured with the Best Implementation Team of the Year award.

Among other changes this year is the introduction of new sub-categories in Best Media Innovation-TV, Best Media Innovation-Print, Best Integrated Campaign and Best Use of Research. Categories such as Best Use of Sponsorship are being re-introduced this year.

EMVIES 2013 will reward the work done during the period April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013. The EMVIES is meant to recognise the outstanding work specifically done by the media agencies. EMVIES is for the media agencies and will continue to be so. Creative agencies may however enter, if they can produce proof of their role in the media buying and the release.

There will be a two-stage judging process to choose the winners, which will focus on rewarding work that meet the following criteria: Originality & Uniqueness, Impact on Client’s Business, Relevance to brand and its communication. There will be Gold, Silver and Bronze awards given away in each category.

Punitha Arumugam is Chairperson of the EMVIES 2013 Committee. The EMVIES Awards ceremony will be held in Mumbai on September 6, 2013.
