Ad agencies to clear dues of TV channels within 75 days: IBF, AAAI

The joint working committee of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF)-Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) has decided that all the AAAI member agencies should clear the dues to all television channels within the stipulated credit period of 75 days.

According to industry sources, revenues to the tune of over Rs 300-500 crore are due by the various advertising agencies to the television channels.

The committee further said that appropriate action would be taken against defaulting clients and such clients might face an embargo on their advertising activity across all TV channels.
