Acer scouts for creative partners

Acer Computers is scouting for creative partners, confirmed industry insiders. BBH is currently handling the duties for the brand; it had won the business in July last year on the back of a multi-agency pitch. Back then, Dentsu Communications was the incumbent on the account, which it had won in 2007.

Slated to be the fourth largest PC vendor globally, the brand has been making its presence felt in India. It signed up film actor Hrithik Roshan as brand ambassador to strengthen visibility and create a buzz. The brand’s campaign by BBH India in November last year emphasised the laptops’ dual function of camera and video editing.
