Neo Sports and Neo Cricket, the sports channels from Nimbus Communications, have decided to review their creative business and have called for a creative pitch. The estimated account size is pegged at above Rs 20 crore. Reportedly nine agencies are in the fray for the business. Ogilvy & Mather is the incumbent agency.
No officials from the channels’ side were available for comments at the time of filing the report.
However, according to industry sources, the first round of presentations has been completed. It is known that incumbent agency O&M India has not participated in the pitch.
Sports and entertainment company Nimbus Communications had announced the launch of Neo Sports, a 24-hour cricket centric television channel in September 2006. The channel focuses on various cricket related programming, live coverage of both domestic and international cricket, interviews with top cricketers, analysis and sports entertainment.
