141Sercon, the below-the-line marketing agency, has won the mandate to organise the eighth edition of the Chennai Marathon. The event will be held on February 21, 2010. The marketing spends for the event are estimated at around Rs 3 crore.
The mega event, organised by the Sports Authority of Tamil Nadu, is at par with international level marathons. This consumer activation is expected to bring together nearly 25,000-30,000 participants, including consumers, corporates, schools, colleges, government departments and celebrities.

The Marathon would be promoted through a 360 degree campaign covering print, electronic, digital and outdoor media. 141Sercon will be responsible for managing the complete marathon, besides sponsorship generation.
