12 Indian entries make it to One Show Finalists list

Twelve entries from India have been shortlisted as Finalists for the One Show 2009. The big one, the Pencil winners, would be announced at the One Show Awards ceremony on May 6 in New York. The One Show Festival 2009 is currently underway in New York City and will conclude on May 8.

Leo Burnett Mumbai’s work for Bajaj Electricals, titled Kitchen, has been announced as Finalist in the Newspaper (Full Page or Spread – Single) category. Bajaj Electricals Kitchen entry also features in the Finalist list in the Collateral (Posters – Single) category.

Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai has been announced Finalists for four of its work. The entry titled ‘Sour Marbels’ for client Perfetti Van Melle has made it to the Finalist list in the Newspaper (Full Page or Spread – Campaign) and Collateral Posters (Campaign) categories. The work titled ‘Sanctuary Asia Fashion Victims’ for Vodafone Essar Ltd has made to the list in the Public Service (Newspaper or Magazine – Campaign) category. Breakthrough Domestic Violence campaign features in the Public Service (Television – Single) category. O&M Bangalore is a Finalist in the POP and In-Store (Single) category for the entry titled ‘The Elusive Coasters’ for client SAB Miller India.

Creativeland Asia Mumbai has two entries in the Finalists list – both for Arcon AIDS Research and Control Center for the entry titled HIV ART in the Public Service Outdoor and Posters (Single and Campaign) categories.

Publicis, DDB Mudra and JWT have one entry each in the Finalists list. Publicis Mumbai’s entry titled Parental Lock for Sansui Electronics has made it to the list in the Collateral Posters (Campaign) category. DDB Mudra Mumbai entry titled ‘Bush’ for the Islamic Research Foundation has made it in the Public Service – Radio (Single) category. JWT Mumbai’s entry titled ‘A day in the life of Chennai’ for The Times of India has made it the Cinema (Campaign) category.
