Volkswagen India, which has created quite a buzz for the kind of work it has been doing in its print advertising, is now in the process of reviewing its digital business. It is understood that the digital pitch of the German auto major in India is already in its final stages, and the decision is expected to be announced soon. At present, Tribal DDB is the incumbent on the business.
Apart from the incumbent, the pitch also involved Grey Worldwide’s brand activation arm, G2. While no official confirmation was forthcoming at the time of filing the report, industry sources have confirmed the development to exchange4media.
For the record, Volkswagen’s creative business is handled by DDB India and MediaCom is its media AoR. For now, there are no changes in the creative and media agencies.
