In the wake of a multi-agency pitch, TME Mumbai has been assigned the mandate of managing media requirements of Allied Blenders & Distilleries Pvt. Ltd. (ABD), the third largest spirits company in India, promoted by industry stalwart Kishore Chhabria. Sources informed that the business is pegged in the vicinity of Rs 15 crore.
As is known, ABD manufactures brands such as Officer’s Choice, Wodka Gorbatschow and Jolly Roger Rum amongst others.
Details such as other agencies in the fray were not available at the time of filing the report.
In an official communiqué, Ahmed Rahimtoola, Vice President Marketing, Allied Blenders & Distilleries, stated, “ABD has currently very ambitious growth plans including new launches in the pipe-line, we were looking for a partner to deliver our communication to the target audience in the most appropriate manner and TME’s approach seemed to be in line with our thinking”
