Span Communications has been awarded Incredible India’s electronic media campaign for the European market to promote tourism in India. The pitch for all continents was called in November 2010. The ad spend for the campaign, which will be rolled out shortly, is estimated at Rs 50 crore.
Confirming the win, an elated Naresh Khetrapal, CEO, Span Communications, said, “Our past performance and knowledge of international media tilted the balance in our favour. We have been doing their business for nearly five years now.”
According to Kheterpal, the pitch was called for all continents in November 2010, and ZenithOptimedia, ITDC, Crayons and RK Swamy BBDO, along with Span, were among those in the fray for the business. Result for the rest of the continents is awaited.
