Following a closely fought multi-agency pitch, Span Communications and Dentsu Marcom have won the 360 degree communication mandate for the Election Commission of India. PerceptH, Crayons and Concept were the other agencies in the fray for that business. Sources close to the development have revealed that the account size is substantial.

For the record, Span Communications has previously handled the ‘Pappu Vote Nahi Deta’ election campaign for the Delhi Assembly Elections and the Lok Sabha Elections for Delhi Constituency, which had managed to grab a lot of media attention and was said to have led to effective result in terms of voter turnout.

Commenting on the win, Naresh Khetrapal, CEO, Span Communications, said, “After, successfully delivering a highly effective campaign for the Delhi Elections, it will be an honour for us to produce similar results for rest of the states in India. The ‘Pappu’ campaign helped us a lot in understanding the voters’ mindset and gave us a lot of insight that helped us win this business.”
