Puthiya Thalaimurai awards business to Disha Communications

Disha Communications’ Chennai branch recently clinched the account of Tamil news channel Puthiya Thalaimurai. Disha has started handling the account from July 1.

Confirming the news, Shyam, Director, Operations, Puthiya Thalaimurai said, “The commitment and dedication showed by Disha during the pitch impressed us.”
 

Reacting to the win, KK Mathew, CMD, Disha Communications said, “This is a very prestigious pitch win for Disha and I am very happy to see the Chennai team take the agency to newer heights as we are celebrating the silver jubilee of the company.”

This is the first media client for Disha. Puthiya Thalaimurai was launched in August 2011 last year by New Generation Media Corporation, the publishers of the Puthiya Thalaimurai Group of Magazines.

“The pitch presented by the Chennai team was for a new channel that will soon be launched by the client and they have selected Disha as their new agency,” said Devarajan Duraibabu, Vice President, Disha Communications Chennai, who led the pitch winning team.

Disha Communications started its journey 25 years ago in Bangalore. Today, it has expanded its services to 12 Indian cities and is growing at a steady pace of 30 per cent year on year.
