Purple Focus adds Shakti Pumps and Aakriti Groups businesses to its kitty

Purple Focus, a full service mid-sized agency, has bagged the creative mandates for Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd and Aakriti Group. The account size for Shakti Pumps is pegged at Rs 15 crore, while the ad spend for Aakriti Group is estimated at Rs 5 crore. Rohit Bindal, Vice President, Purple Focus, has confirmed the wins to exchange4media.

For Shakti Pumps, Purple Focus will be at the helm of the strategy and conceptualisation to reach out to the target consumers – male farmers and large landowners in the agriculture sector above the age of 25 years. As for Aakriti Group, the agency will be responsible for strategy, idea and creatives for the Group’s upcoming projects.

Reacting to the two successive wins, Bindal said, “We are delighted with the wins. Both are strong brands from central India and the opportunity is very rewarding. We hope to put our best foot forward and take both the brands to newer heights. The whole team is looking forward to working on some extraordinary ideas for them. We intend to help build the brands on a much larger platform in the coming months.”

Shakti Pumps is engaged in the manufacture of submersible pumps, energy saving submersible motors, SRN booster pumps, water pumps, motors and associated controls panels under the brand name ‘Shakti’. The company had obtained a BIS certificate for ISI mark in 1989 and also acquired ISO: 9001:2000 certifications. It is also the first company to have 5-star rating in the submersible pumps category from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Shakti Pumps currently exports its products to over 60 countries.

Bhopal-based Aakriti Group is into the real estate business and is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. The group has several residential and commercial complexes coming up in prime locations around Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Raipur and Nagpur. Aakriti Group is soon going to diversify into power and education sectors as well. The Group also has a strong presence in the sugar industry.
