Publicis Ambience bags Henko biz; ac size Rs 15 cr

Jyothy Laboratories Ltd has awarded Henko’s creative mandate to Publicis Ambience. This is further to the agency partnership realignment post the merger of Jyothy Laboratories and Henkel. The agency’s Mumbai branch will handle the business. Industry sources estimate the size of the business to be around Rs 15 crore.

The win comes on the back of a closely fought multi-agency pitch that was initiated in July this year, and was held in Mumbai. According to sources, around eight creative agencies had taken part in the first round that was purely strategic, of which three were invited to make creative presentations.

When contacted, K Raghavendra, General Manager, Marketing Services, Jyothy Laboratories, said, “We are pleased to have Publicis Ambience on board for Henko. We believe the team has huge potential to help us garner a sizeable market share in this highly competitive category. Their conviction in the presented strategy followed with creative helped us choose them amongst the other competing agencies.”

Ashish Khazanchi, Vice Chairman and NCD, Publicis Ambience, added here, “It’s rare these days to work on a client like Jyothy Laboratories, who completely trusts the agency and believes in the power of the ‘idea’. We will try to live up to the faith placed in us by delivering some memorable work on Henko.”

The team that worked on the pitch led by Paritosh Srivastava, included Anirban Mozumdar from planning, Sunanda Chadha led the account management team and Ashish Khazanchi provided the creative firepower with the team led by Vivek Rao.

Publicis Ambience also has the creative mandates for Citibank, Vicks, Oral B, Park Avenue, Lakme, TBZ, HDFC Mutual Funds, Nerolac and many more.
