OMD India adds London Dairy to kitty

OMD India has added the media mandate of London Dairy. While OMD India officials were not available for comments, it is understood that the move was not preceded by any pitch process in India.

OMD has begun work on the business already. This is the first time the marketer is working with an agency in India.

Even though London Dairy has been available in India for some time, it is only now that the premium ice cream brand has begun mass communication in this market. At present, London Dairy is working with its international creatives and has not appointed a creative agency in India yet.

London Dairy’s Healthy Lifestyle range, which includes the Yoghurt and Lite range, is also available in India. At present, the brand is available in key markets for premium ice-cream including Indian metro cities.

London Dairy is a brand from IFFCO, manufactured under license from London Dairy (UK). IFFCO launched ‘Flavours of the World’, a premium range of London Dairy specifically for the international market with variants such as Tiramisu and Strawberry Cheesecake.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
