Now, Reliance Communications calls for OOH pitch for GSM and CDMA mobile biz

Close on the heels of calling for a creative pitch, Reliance Communications India (RComm) is now on the lookout for an OOH partner for its GSM and CDMA mobile business. The OOH business is pegged in the region of Rs 50-70 crore.

This is the first time that Reliance Communications is looking to hire an OOH agency. Till now, the outdoor work was being handled in-house.

It is learnt that the agencies taking part in the OOH pitch include Platinum (Madison outdoor group), Primesite, Milestone Brandcomm and GroupM (Kinetic group). The agencies were called to understand the OOH capability in the first round of presentations. No brief such was given.

It may be recalled that last week, Reliance Communications had called for a creative pitch for its GSM and CDMA business. DDB Mudra, JWT and incumbent agency Cartwheel are the agencies in the fray for the creative duties.
