Nikon out to ‘click’ a new creative partner

The market is abuzz with the news of Nikon India, the Japanese major in the camera space, in talks with few leading advertising agencies to handle their creative mandate. Currently, ADK Fortune is the incumbent agency for Nikon India.

No further details were available at the time of filing the report. Sajjan Kumar, GM, Sales and Marketing, Nikon India, was unavailable for comments. But industry sources have confirmed the pitch call.

Nikon India was incorporated on May 2007 as a 100 per cent subsidiary of Nikon Corporation Tokyo. Over the years, Nikon has established a strong base in India through a local distributor. Now, Nikon India will further reinforce this platform to enhance the Nikon brand image and brand promise through various activities and programmes.
