M&C Saatchi Communications, one of the world’s youngest and fastest growing global advertising agency networks, with offices in 22 cities across 15 countries, has bagged the creative duties of the personal care business of Amar Remedies, a manufacturer of quality personal hygiene products that started with a foray into the oral care market nearly three decades ago.
Chetan Gupta, President, Commercial, Amar Remedies, explained, “We were extremely pleased with the communication package developed by M&C Saatchi for Amar Clove Gel Toothpaste. The creative was clutter breaking and the consequent results in the marketplace have been very positive. We had no hesitation in making the relationship a more permanent one.”
Reacting to the win, Suranjan Das, Executive Director, M&C Saatchi, said, “This is a really exciting and challenging category to work on. Amar has some fantastic products that are 100 per cent vegetarian and filled with the goodness of Ayurveda. Till recently, their focus has been more on the export markets, hence the first task is to build awareness for them at a domestic level. The company is extremely open-minded and flexible. Amar Remedies, started as Swami Aushadalaya Pvt Ltd, embarked on its journey in Ayurvedic medicinal research and development in the year 1984, and in 1995, the company changed its name to Amar Remedies. Today, Amar Remedies has expanded into other personal care and grooming categories, covering skincare, pain relief and hair care.
