Neo Sports has roped in Maxus as its media agency. Prior to this, MEC was handling the media duties. The creative duties continue to be with McCann Erickson. Industry sources peg the business in the region of Rs 20-25 crore.
Prasana Krishnan, COO, Neo Sports, has confirmed the development to exchange4media. While both MEC and Maxus belong to GroupM, the change comes due to some internal restructuring.
Sports and entertainment company Nimbus Communications had announced the launch of Neo Sports, a 24-hour cricket centric television channel in September 2006. The channel focuses on various cricket related programming, live coverage of both domestic and international cricket, interviews with top cricketers, analysis and sports entertainment.
