Madison Media’s winning streak continues with Maxx Mobile win

Close on the heels of winning the accounts of McCain Foods, Ruchi Soya, Max India’s corporate account, Café Coffee Day, Radikal Rice and Crompton Greaves, Madison Media has been assigned the mandate for Maxx Mobile. The account will be handled by Madison Media Sigma in Mumbai.

On awarding the business to Madison Media, Ajjay Agarawal, Managing Director, Maxx Mobile said, “We were looking to partner India’s top agencies to help us in our mission to make Maxx Mobile one of the leading handset brands in the country. We found Madison, with rich expertise in media, to be the ideal choice and are sure they will add tremendous value in our efforts.”

Reacting to the win, Vanita Keswani, COO, Madison Media Sigma said, “We are delighted to add Maxx Mobile to our roster of clients and are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”

Maxx Mobile had forayed into India in 2004 and over the last two years claims to have sold about 10 million handsets in India. The company is now all set to offer a range of smartphones especially created to meet the Indian users need.

Madison Media Group’s client roster includes Airtel, Godrej, Cadbury/Kraft, ITC, General Motors, Marico, McDonald’s TVS, Levis, SpiceJet, Domino’s, Bharti AXA, Max Life Insurance, Asian Paints, Pidilite, Tata Salt, Acer, Crompton Greaves, Dish TV, Times Television Network, Indian Oil, Enamor Lingerie, Gowardhan Dairy, Café Coffee Day and many others. The gross billing of Madison Media is about Rs 3,000 crore.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
