Travel portal Expedia has assigned its creative mandate to Lowe Lintas Delhi. The agency will handle the 360 degree advertising duties for the online brand. The decision was taken after scanning four agencies in the final round – Grey Worldwide, DDB Mudra, Publicis and Lowe Lintas.
Confirming the development to exchange4media, Manmeet Ahluwalia, Marketing Head, Expedia Inc, said, “Lowe had an impressive brand strategy and committed resource pool for the account. We chose them also because we felt they would bring freshness in the creatives for the travel portal through their integrated marketing approach and digital tools.”
Lowe will be instrumental in carrying all the online and offline activities for the travel company, while Text 100 has been chosen to handle the PR mandate for the brand.
The first campaign by the agency is expected to break by the end of this year.
