Kaya Skin Clinic scouting for creative partner

Following Emami appointing Rediffusion Y&R as its creative AoR, Kaya Skin Clinic is on the lookout for a new creative partner and will be inviting some agencies for a pitch. Rediffusion Y&R is the incumbent agency. Madison Media continues to be the media agency for Kaya.

In an email interaction with exchange4media, Suvodeep Das, Marketing Head, Kaya Skin Clinic, said, “Kaya Skin Clinic has decided to work with a different creative agency and will invite some agencies for a pitch. We will make a formal announcement on this in due course.”

Meanwhile, speaking with exchange4media, Rediffusion Y&R officials said, “We have partnered with Emami for their personal and skincare range and we are looking to grow with Emami in this sector.”

It is understood that Rediffusion Y&R’s contract with Kaya Skin Clinic ends in June 2011. As is known, Emami has brands such as Boroplus in its personal and skincare range and will soon also be launching a brand in the men’s skincare range.

Kaya Skin Clinic, a concept from the Marico stable, started out as a single clinic prototype in Bandra, Mumbai, in December 2002. Since then, Kaya has grown to 81 clinics strong across 26 cities in India, 14 clinics in the Middle East and two clinics in Bangladesh.
