It's OMD for Base Corporation; ac size Rs 40 crore

Base Corporation, a key player in the battery industry, has signed on OMD to handle its media duties. The officials at Base Corporation has put the overall size of the account at Rs 40 cr.

It is learnt that there was a pitch called for the business. Some of the agencies in conversation with the client include Lintas Media Group, Maxus and Mudra Max besides OMD.

The creative duties are being handled by Mudra. Perfect Relations has been roped in to handle the PR duties.

Aditya Arora, Head Marketing at Base Corporation said, “OMD shall be responsible for planning, scheduling, buying and activating the media spread across TV,Print and other initiatives. Base plans to have a 360 degree marketing plan addressing the mainline media as also the BTL, OOH and other initiatives.”

He added, “Base brand is witnessing its transition to a newer, bolder avatar. The key marketing objective is to create awareness and connect with the Indian consumer on a more personal forum.”
