Huawei appoints Windchimes as its social media agency

Setting up the creative functions right, aligning duties with Contract Advertising, Huawei India is now bullish on its plans to create a wider social reach among the consumers. An Indian counterpart of telecom solutions provider Huawei Telecommunications, the company has tied up with Windchimes Communications to strategise its social media marketing. The Mumbai-headquartered agency will handle the social media presence for the company and work towards creating the buzz for its new products and also build stronger relationships with the audiences via engagement on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

“Social media sites act as an important source of information and greatly influences the buying decision of the consumers. Thus, it becomes inevitable for organisations to be active on the social media platforms,” said Anand Narang, Marketing Director, Huawei Devices (India) Pvt Ltd, adding, “Partnering with Windchimes, which comes with the experience of handling multiple consumer and B2B brands across verticals, gives us the comfort that we will be able to listen more carefully to what our consumers have to say and deliver on their expectations.”

Windchimes, as part of their scope of work, will be the key prolocutor for the organisation on social media initiatives and will work with Huawei India to build and execute social media strategies that will help the brand to reach out to a much wider audience in the online space. Windchimes will also advocate Huawei to provide instant support to customers on the social media channels via their Facebook Page - The Twitter handle with the same name, Huaweiindia, also aims to share with telecom consumer’s product information, reviews, and online care.
