OMD India has managed another significant win. Following a multi-agency pitch, mobile handset manufacturer HTC India has appointed OMD India as its media AOR.
While the advertiser and the agency were not available for comments, sources close to the development informed that OMD had already begun work on the HTC business.
The account size for HTC in 2011 is pegged in the vicinity of Rs 40-45 crore. The account would be handled from OMD’s Delhi operations.
The other agencies competing for the business couldn’t be determined at the time of filing the report, but sources informed that the pitch had seen participation of leading media agencies.
