Durian Furniture has assigned its advertising duties to Goldmine Advertising. This was confirmed by Rahul Sarkar, COO, Goldmine Advertising, who said, “We started mining in Durian since September 2011 and finally struck gold in January 2012. It was a pure team effort and we bagged the account on the basis of our creative forte.”

The size of the account could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report. A complete blend of media-mix shall be implemented. The primary spend will be on print, though the company might go for television spends later in 2012.

On choosing Goldmine, Shilpi Dokania, Director, Durian Industries Ltd, said, “For an agency, it’s important to portray the brand philosophy and strategic touch points that assures the brand’s growth. Goldmine as an agency showed preciseness in the creative execution. The agency demonstrated a good understanding on the category and the direction in which we plan to grow. At Durian, our aim is to ensure customer satisfaction along with brand visibility.”

Sajjan Dokania, Managing Director, Durian Industries Ltd, added here, “In our pursuit of excellence we have always been committed towards enriching lifestyles with newer and innovative products. Moreover we have a social responsibility towards the environment and the society, through our efforts we are contributing in the right direction.
