Goibibo.com awards creative duties to JWT

Goibibo.com, the online travel site, has awarded its creative duties to JWT Delhi. Highly placed sources have confirmed the news to exchange4media; however, no official confirmation was received at the time of filing the report.

Recently, the travel booking site had appointed ITSA as its creative agency. It released a campaign with the central theme of 'Goibibo.com hain na' addressing the various offerings of the website. Earlier Goibibo.com launched short animation-based TVCs addressing the various benefits such as cheap air and bus tickets, holiday packages and hotel bookings.

This was a very tough year for many agencies as they have lost clients and are facing challenges on their current clients. But it’s a sigh of relief to add a client towards the end of the year for JWT. Though it is a drop in the ocean, but towards the end of the year every drop counts. It is certainly a fresh start for the coming year for JWT.

Goibibo.com is a part of the Ibibo Group, which is a subsidiary of South African media conglomerate Naspers. The key portfolio organisations of the group are Goibibo.com (Online Travel); Tradus.com (Online Marketplace); PayU.in (Online Payments), Gaadi.com (Auto Classifieds) and redBus (Online Bus ticketing).
