Frette India appoints Carat Media as its AoR

Italian linen brand Frette has appointed Carat Media as its media AoR for India. The account will be handled from Carat’s Mumbai office.

Speaking on the appointment, Nivedita Malcolm, Executive Director, Regency Retail (Exclusive Franchise), Frette India said, “We were introduced to Carat through our Indian partners and were very eager to evaluate its offering. Carat’s focus on the business with a clear recommendation on the launch of a premium brand helped us decide in its favour. We are delighted to have them as a partner in the launch of our brand in India. Carat’s integrated approach is exactly what we were looking for and we look forward to having them partner in our expansion in India.”

The Frette brand is over 150 years old and was founded in 1860. Frette is based in Milan, Italy and is a leading brand in the high-end bedding, bath linens and home wear business. Frette operates over 100 boutiques internationally, in markets such as Paris, New York, London, Beverly Hills and now Mumbai.
