FoxyMoron retains French Connection account

FoxyMoron, a digital solutions agency, has retained the French Connection account after a multi-agency pitch. It will, thus, consolidate the creative mandate in the digital space for French Connection.

The pitch was a competitive, multi-agency pitch with agencies such as Edelman and Jack in the Box participating.

Commenting on the move, Harshil Karia, Online Strategist and Co-Founder, FoxyMoron said, “When you’ve got a brand that’s as irreverent as French Connection, the possibilities are endless. We’re glad that the team at French Connection has liked the ideas and strategy presented for the brand to dominate digital and we’re confident that we can do so.”

Founded in 1972 by Stephen Marks, French Connection is an edgy, attitudinal, high street British fashion brand. Brand Marketing India (BMI), the exclusive licensee for French Connection in India, introduced the brand to the Indian market in April 2007 and has since opened 26 points-of-sale across eight cities. BMI has ensured that the brand in India emulates the same global strategy.

With its key focus on the Autumn-Winter collection, FoxyMoron plans to ensure that there is integration between the brand’s on-ground, in-store and online activities.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
