Euro RSCG assigned creative duties of Rohit Surfactants

Close on the heels of bagging the Mitsubishi and Reckitt Benckiser’s Paras Oral businesses, Euros RSCG has now added one personal care and one home care brand of Rohit Surfactants Pvt Ltd (RSPL) to its kitty. Rohit Surfactants is a Kanpur-based detergent firm that owns brands like Ghari detergent, Xpert detergent and Venus Soaps.

Confirming the news to sxchange4media, Shavon Barua, President, West and South, Euro RSCG, said, “We have got the business for two distinct categories – one in personal care and one in home care. The marketing strategy will take forward a full 360 degree approach.”

It may be noted that in April 2010, RSPL set out to reinforce its FMCG presence by foraying into the Rs 85,000 crore homecare segment from the cluttered washing soap segment.

The group has also recently released its advertising for Venus Soaps and Xpert detergent and has roped in actresses Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit, respectively, for the two brands. It is aggressively marketing and advertising its two brands to attract traction in the FMCG space.
 

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
