Contract assigned creative mandate for Lava Mobiles; account size upwards of Rs 25 cr

Lava Mobiles, a new entrant in the Indian mobile market, has decided on Contract Delhi to handle its creative duties. The business is pegged at upwards of Rs 25 crore, according to senior sources in the industry.

Contract won the account on the back of a multi-agency pitch called in July. The mobile player is still sorting out the details of the campaign with the new agency on board, while decision is yet to be taken on Shop, the incumbent agency, which is expected to retain part of the business.

It may be recalled that exchange4media had earlier reported about the mobile brand scouting for a creative agency.
