BSNL Kolkata opens ad pitch for 2-year empanelment

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), Calcutta Telephones, Kolkata has sent out invitations to ad agencies for a two-year empanelment. A maximum four agencies would be awarded the contract, according to reliable sources.

The empanelled agencies will be responsible for designing, conceptualising and media management, including release of advertisements in outdoor, print, TV, radio, etc. Initially, the chosen agencies will be empanelled for two years, but later it may be further extended twice for a period of six months each.

Sources also divulged that the eligibility criteria expected the pitching participants to have continuous and regular INS (Indian Newspaper Society) accreditation for the last two years and must be accredited with Doordarshan and AIR.

The applicant agencies, with a fully functional office at Kolkata, are also required to be handling at least three government, PSU or MNC accounts of clients with a minimum turnover of Rs 100 crore.

Interested agencies can collect the forms from AGM, BSNL, Calcutta Telephones, Telephone Bhawan, Kolkata. Last date for submission is March 30, 2011.
