Amrutanjan appoints OMD India as media AoR

Headache and pain management brand Amrutanjan has appointed OMD India as its media AoR (agency of record). The agency’s Chennai office will handle the business. Industry sources estimate the business’ ad spends to be in the vicinity of Rs 15 crore.

The win comes in the wake of a multiagency pitch process. The incumbent on the business is Vizeum India. 

Confirming the development to exchange4media, Jasmin Sohrabji, CEO, OMD India said, “OMD India is proud to partner Amrutanjan on their media business; our Chennai team is extremely excited to work on brands with such a strong heritage and we look forward to delivering some great media thinking and execution on the business.”

One of the top spending clients in the southern region, Amrutanjan has products in four key verticals. The company had recently appointed Lowe Lintas and Partners as it creative agency.
